What is a hybrid event?
SMTC 2021 will be happening both live at Marine Bay Sands and virtually via our online events and networking platform for those who are unable to attend in person.

How many attendees can attend SMTC hybrid conference?
250 pax (Singapore based) is the current physical attendance allowance, is limited due to social distancing requirements and complying local registrations, and registration will be on a first come first served basis.

Will walk-ins registrations be allowed?
No. Successful pre-registration and confirmation are required.

Can international participants attend SMTC?
Yes, all overseas participants will be able to attend the event online via our virtual event platform.

What can participants expect from the hybrid SMTC 2021?
The interactive and engaging hybrid platform offers participants the flexibility to customise their participation format. Participants who are unable to visit the SMTC physically can now do so via the virtual platform to meet with exhibitors, interact and join their peers at the networking activities.

How can I access the virtual conference?
SMTC will use SwapCard as an event platform. All registered delegates will receive login details to access the event which will include the virtual conference, virtual exhibition and virtual networking. Details on how to access the digital sessions will be sent to your registered email 2 weeks before the event.

Can onsite participants access the virtual conference and on demand sessions?

How will the Networking work?
Dedicated and biosafe meeting pods will allow for onsite participants to connect with each other, as well as with the online audiences. Video calls and live chats will be possible between online and onsite participants.

Sponsorship & exhibition in a hybrid event
All physical sponsors and exhibitors will have the option to take a virtual booth as well. This will allow for increased exposure and brand engagement opportunities. Various other profiling and brand engagement options can be explored for on site, and in the virtual event platform.
